Pat- I am really enjoying your Blog! Even though I'm not a lawyer, I share your journey and search for meaning in work. I worked with an executive coach during a time of burnout, who asked me one earth-shattering question: "Where are you finding joy?" It threw me for a loop. I ended up journaling Joy at work for a while, and it was amazing how it opened up my spirit and eventually turned things around for me. I wrote about some of it here: http://shrinkingthecamel.com/2008/09/12/the-purpose-of-work-3/

Keep up the great Blogging!
